About Brar Law

Brar Law is a Surrey based immigration law firm, founded in 2013. It doesn't take on other areas of practice; the work runs from an initial eligibility review through to judicial review of a refused application at the Federal Court of Canada. Along with the Surrey office, the firm keeps a second office in downtown Vancouver.

Founder Preetka Brar holds a B.A. and a B.Ed. from the University of British Columbia and an LL.B. from the University of Alberta, and was called to the bar in 2008. Before turning to immigration work, the firm's founder practiced as a civil litigator, representing personal injury clients through the litigation process. Brar Law now handles work permits, business and corporate immigration, visitor and study visas, permanent residency, and citizenship applications, along with pre submission reviews meant to catch problems before a file reaches an immigration officer.
