About Preeti

Preeti Sangwan has practised family law since 2019, handling divorce, parenting time and decision-making, spousal and child support, collaborative practice, and equalization matters. Her academic background includes an Honours degree from the University of Toronto and a law degree earned at the University of Kent in the United Kingdom, and her earlier work in policy and community roles shapes how she approaches clients. She focuses on keeping clients informed and confident in the merits of their case, generally favours resolving disputes through out-of-court settlement, and turns to litigation when it's necessary. She also brings experience in civil, immigration, and real estate law to her family law practice, and she speaks English, Hindi, and Urdu.
