About Abir

Abir Hassan completed a combined Master of Social Work and Juris Doctor program at the University of Windsor, where she also earned her undergraduate degree in social work. That background shapes an empathetic, client-centered approach to her family law practice. She gained hands-on experience with family law matters while articling at a firm in Windsor. Abir works with clients on separation, divorce, decision-making responsibility, parenting time, contact, support, and property division, and she is trained in collaborative practice. She has been practicing since 2025 and aims to help clients understand their rights and options through both negotiation and litigation. Outside of work, she enjoys hiking, trying new cuisines, and volunteering for causes tied to equity and social justice.
