About Prasanna

Prasanna Balasundaram directs Downtown Legal Services and focuses his practice on complex immigration and refugee law, including constitutional challenges, exclusion, inadmissibility, and national security issues. He has held leadership roles with the Canadian Association of Refugee Lawyers and the South Asian Legal Clinic of Ontario, and received the Law Foundation of Ontario's Community Leadership in Justice Fellowship in 2021.
