About Richard

Richard Teicher supervises the Family Law division at Downtown Legal Services and has practised exclusively in family law since his call to the Ontario bar in 2000. He is an accredited family mediator with experience in collaborative family law, has litigated in the Ontario and Superior Courts of Justice, and has served as panel counsel for the Office of the Children's Lawyer and the Family Responsibility Office. He holds a B.A. (Hons.) from York University, an M.S.W. from the University of Toronto, an LL.B. from the University of Windsor, and an LL.M. from the University of Ottawa.
