About Phyllis

Phyllis Bergmans has represented accident victims and their families since 2003 and joined the firm in 2006. She works with the firm's lawyers, clients, and their rehabilitation and medical teams to support people with brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, and other serious injuries through the Accident Benefits process. She is a Fellow Chartered Insurance Professional through the Insurance Institute of Canada, holds a Bachelor of Arts (Honours Law) from Carleton University, and earned an MBA from Heriot-Watt University. Before joining the firm she spent more than 20 years in the insurance industry, working in Ontario insurance claims since 1985. She helps clients complete OCF forms, medical documentation, police reports, and other paperwork required for Accident Benefits and personal injury claims.
