About Philip

Philip joined Soloway Wright in 2015 and began practising municipal and planning law after his call to the bar in 2017. As a member of the Municipal, Land Development & Expropriation group, he represents developers, businesses, homeowners and municipalities on land use regulations and development approvals, including Planning Act applications, conservation authority matters, development charges and heritage properties. Much of his practice involves appeals before the Ontario Land Tribunal, and he also appears before municipal councils and committees and the Ontario Divisional Court. Philip earned his JD from Queen's University in 2016 and a BA (Honours) from Carleton University in 2013.
