About Peter

Peter Matanaj practises exclusively in family law, combining a litigation background with a client-centered approach. He earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Alberta Faculty of Law in 2021, after completing a Bachelor of Commerce with Distinction in 2018, and was called to the Alberta Bar in 2022. He articled at a criminal defence firm and worked as an associate at boutique Alberta litigation firms handling files before the Alberta Provincial Court and Court of King's Bench before recently moving to BC and being called to the British Columbia Bar. During law school he volunteered with Student Legal Services.
