About Peter
Peter Eastwood is a lawyer at HHBG Lawyers who helps clients with a wide range of workplace issues, including terminations and severance, human rights, privacy, employment standards, labour relations, workers' compensation, disability, and workplace investigations. He has extensive experience with WorkSafeBC claims and appeals before the Review Division and Workers' Compensation Appeal Tribunal, and also mediates disputes, having completed mediation training at Harvard Law School's Executive Education Program on Negotiation. Since 2014 he has been listed in The Best Lawyers in Canada for labour and employment law, one of the few employee-side lawyers included, and since 2018 in the Canadian Legal Lexpert Directory. Peter was called to the bar in 2003, practised as a partner at a large national firm, and joined HHBG in 2012. He has also taught employment law and human rights as adjunct faculty at the Pacific Coast University for Workplace Health Sciences.
