About Myron
Myron Plett is Spectrum Family Law's Managing Family Lawyer for its Vancouver and Kamloops offices, with nearly twenty years of litigation experience in the Provincial Court of British Columbia and the Supreme Court of British Columbia, as well as before tribunals such as the Residential Tenancy Branch and the BC Human Rights Tribunal. His practice spans family law, wills and estates, contracts and leases, real estate, criminal law, and corporate and commercial transactions. Before becoming a lawyer, Plett spent years as a classical pianist, conductor, and musical theatre performer, with performances recorded and broadcast by the CBC, and he was called to the bar in British Columbia in 2008. His notable cases include Schneider v. Owers, in which he secured a rare special costs award for a client after more than a decade of litigation, and Stainer v. Thurgood, in which he successfully defeated a summary dismissal application in a novel wills variation claim.
