About Paula

Paula Olexiuk practises as a partner in Osler's Commercial Department, focusing on energy and construction law, and co-chairs the firm's Construction and Infrastructure practice group. Paula advises major Canadian energy and infrastructure clients on construction, development, acquisition, and divestiture of projects at home and abroad, with particular attention to renewable energy and energy transition work. Her experience spans oil, gas, oilsands, LNG, and power and renewable energy transactions, along with project development and engineering, procurement and construction matters such as acquisitions, joint ventures, and carbon credit transactions. Paula regularly advises clients on competitive procurement processes for renewable energy and EPC arrangements, including tenders and requests for proposals. Paula sits as the Calgary partner representative on Osler's National Diversity Committee and serves on the board of Women+Power, a group supporting women in Alberta's power sector.
