About Paul-Matthieu

Paul-Matthieu Grondin co-founded Grondin Savarese in 2009. He holds a Baccalauréat en droit from Université de Sherbrooke and a Juris Doctor from Queen's University, and practises labour and employment law, advising senior executives and managers through employment terminations, severance packages, incentive compensation and related tax and legal issues. His early career included roles as counsel to the House of Commons and to the Oliphant Commission, and he represented Justice Michel Bastarache during a judicial appointment inquiry. He served as Bâtonnier (president) of the Barreau du Québec from 2017 to 2021, the youngest person to hold the role, and has lectured at McGill University, HEC Montréal and for the American Bar Association.
