About Stéphanie

Stéphanie Claivaz-Loranger maintains a diversified commercial law practice, drafting and negotiating agreements covering services, partnerships, procurement, and confidentiality for clients ranging from small businesses to non-profits and large companies. She also advises not-for-profit organizations on governance matters. At Delegatus she spent a year as legal counsel in the procurement department of a multinational food company, and earlier worked as a lawyer for organizations combating HIV in Canada and abroad, including the HIV Legal Network in Toronto and the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria in Geneva. Before moving in-house she practised mergers and acquisitions and environmental law at Stikeman Elliott. She holds an LL.B. and a B.C.L. from McGill University, both awarded with honours in 2005, and received the Lawyer of the Year award from the Jeune Barreau de Montréal in 2012 for her work in social justice.
