Paul Aubin is a partner at Edward H. Royle & Partners LLP with an extensive trial and appeal practice covering virtually every category of criminal charge, from homicides and robberies to firearm and drug offences. He has more than 40 reported decisions to his name and has conducted countless bail hearings, preliminary hearings, judge-alone and jury trials, and appeals. He was counsel in one of Canada's few reported trial decisions finding racial profiling, resulting in his client's full acquittal. He began his career in 2009 at what was then the country's largest criminal defence firm, moving to Edward H. Royle & Partners in 2010. Paul holds an Honours B.A. from the University of Toronto and an LL.B. from the University of Manitoba Faculty of Law.
