About Patrick
Patrick Stratton is a partner in Witten's corporate and commercial team who brings a background in economics to business law matters, including the purchase and sale of businesses and real estate, contract negotiations, employment issues and privacy law. His work includes negotiating agreements in the resource and alternative energy sectors, securing commercial lending for First Nations and First Nation-owned businesses, and advising on corporate governance for First Nation businesses, societies, trusts and medical professional corporations. Patrick earned his JD from Queen's University in 2011, a Master's in Economics from Queen's in 2008, and a BA Honours in Economics with First Class Honours from the University of Alberta in 2007, and was admitted to the Alberta bar in 2012. Outside the office, he is active in team sports and enjoys backcountry travel and community volunteering.
