About Andrea

Andrea Steen is a civil litigator focused on debt collection and foreclosures, representing financial institutions and private lenders in mortgage enforcement, unsecured debt collection and judgment enforcement across Alberta, the Northwest Territories and Nunavut. She frequently presents on foreclosures, civil procedure and judgment enforcement for the Legal Education Society of Alberta and provides monthly caselaw updates for the Canadian Bar Association. Andrea earned her JD with Distinction from the University of Alberta in 2015 and was admitted to the Alberta bar in 2016, the Northwest Territories bar in 2018, and the Nunavut bar in 2021. She serves on the Board of Directors for Edmonton's Fringe Theatre, co-chairs Witten's Equity, Diversity and Inclusion Committee, and mentors junior lawyers through the CBA Mentor Program.
