About Patricia
Patricia Simpson is a family lawyer and the principal of PBS Law in Kanata, Ontario. She focuses on settlement-oriented family law matters, including separation agreements, marriage contracts and cohabitation agreements, divorce, and independent legal advice, and is trained in the collaborative family law process. Before concentrating on family law, she practised insurance defence, civil litigation, products liability, construction law and estate litigation at national, mid-sized and small Ottawa firms, and co-founded and ran a firm for 13 years. Patricia was called to the Ontario Bar in 1997, the same year she received her law degree from the University of Toronto, after earning an arts degree from the University of Waterloo in 1992. She is a member of Collaborative Divorce Ottawa.
