About Patricia

Patricia Deol advises clients on the full range of labour law matters, including arbitration preparation, negotiations, labour board applications such as certifications and unfair labour practice complaints, and collective agreement interpretation. She handles disability appeals to WorkSafeBC's Review Division, the Workers' Compensation Appeal Board, and the Social Security Tribunal, and has pursued human rights claims on behalf of unions and their members before the BC Human Rights Tribunal and the Canadian Human Rights Commission. Patty obtained her undergraduate degree in political science from the University of British Columbia before graduating from the University of Alberta's law school and being called to the bar in British Columbia. She spent much of her early career at a boutique labour law firm before joining the firm, and serves as Vice-President, BC, of the Canadian Association of Labour Lawyers.
