About Pamela

Pamela Heary is an associate at Barriston Law's Barrie office, practising corporate and commercial law together with intellectual property work centred on trademarks. She was called to the bar in June 2023 after articling with the firm and holds a Juris Doctor from Bond University in Australia, completed in 2021. Before law school she earned a Law Clerk diploma and worked in corporate and securities law, an experience that fuelled her interest in business law. She once interned at a start-up on Australia's Gold Coast, assisting in-house counsel with corporate governance, risk management, and international patent and trademark filings. She belongs to the Intellectual Property Institute of Canada, the Canadian and Ontario Bar Associations, the Simcoe County Bar Association, and CPATA.
