About Alex

Alex Cockburn is an associate practising municipal law, corporate law, and wills and estates out of Barriston's Barrie office. He joined the firm in 2020 as a summer student before completing his articling term there, working on complex municipal, corporate, and estate planning files. He earned his law degree at the Schulich School of Law at Dalhousie University, where he took part in Pro Bono Dalhousie's Wills Project, helping prepare wills and powers of attorney for Halifax-area residents with limited assets. Before law school, he studied business administration at Laurentian University, and he remains active with the Rotaract Club of Barrie.
