About Alison

Alison Firth is an associate lawyer at Barriston focusing on civil litigation and employment law. She completed her articling term at the firm and was called to the Ontario bar in June 2025. Alison earned her Juris Doctor from Bond University in Australia, graduating with First Class Distinction, and served as a student editor for the Bond Law Review while there. She built her advocacy skills through the Bond University Community Law Clinic and the K&L Gates Witness Examination Competition. Before law school, she earned an Honours Bachelor of Arts in Political Studies from Queen's University. She volunteers with Hospice Georgian Triangle in her spare time.
