About Nina
Nina Bombier is a partner at Lenczner Slaght recognized for her work in professional liability, insurance, product liability, and commercial litigation. She has defended professional discipline cases and argued complex insurance appeals at the Supreme Court of Canada, and she has appeared before every level of court in Ontario, at the Supreme Court of Canada, and before arbitration panels and administrative tribunals. Nina joined Lenczner Slaght in 1999 after clerking at the Supreme Court of Canada, and she has represented clients in high-stakes constitutional and public law matters as well as complex commercial litigation touching insurance, product liability, privacy, and financial services. She speaks regularly at continuing legal education events, teaches trial advocacy, and writes on topics ranging from health and environmental law to professional regulation and civil litigation. Nina earned her LLB from Osgoode Hall Law School in 1997, an MA in Critical Theory from Western University in 1993, and a BA in Philosophy and Economics from Western in 1991. She was called to the Ontario bar in 1999.
