About Nicole

Nicole Tayag joined KazLaw as a summer student in 2021, later became an articled student, and was called to the bar in 2023. During her articles she assisted with complex personal injury trials in the British Columbia Supreme Court. While in law school she led a team with the Miscarriages of Justice Project, a pro bono group that aids prisoners who have maintained their innocence through their trial and conviction, which sparked her interest in plaintiff personal injury law, particularly cases involving survivors of sexual abuse. Before law she was a competitive ballet dancer for 15 years. She is a member of the Trial Lawyers Association of BC, the Vancouver Bar Association, and the Canadian Bar Association.
