About Nicole
Nicole J. Stewart practises exclusively in criminal defence at Pringle Law. Before joining the firm, she clerked at the Alberta Court of King's Bench and articled under Alexander Pringle, K.C. Nicole has conducted trials, appeals, bail hearings, and guilty pleas for adults and youths charged with violent, drug, sexual, weapons, driving, and property offences, and often appears in the Court of King's Bench on serious matters including sexual assault, trafficking, and murder. She also handles professional disciplinary hearings and administrative tribunal appeals. Nicole graduated with distinction from the University of Alberta Faculty of Law and with Honours from Queen's University in Political Science with a minor in French. She teaches Evidence at the University of Alberta Faculty of Law, sits on the Gladue Committee, and was elected a Bencher of the Law Society of Alberta in 2023. Nicole is fluent in English and French.
