About Nicole

Nicole Garton is senior counsel in Lindsay Kenney LLP's family and estate planning and litigation groups, having transferred her practice to the firm from Heritage Law, the boutique firm she previously led. She was called to the British Columbia bar in 2001 after earning a BA and LLB from the University of British Columbia, and is recognized by Best Lawyers in Canada in both family law and wills and estates. She is Past Chair of the Canadian Bar Association's Wills and Trusts Subsection in Vancouver and belongs to the Society of Estate and Trust Practitioners, the Estate Planning Council of BC, and several mediation and parenting-coordination rosters. She also serves as President of Heritage Trust, a regulated financial institution offering executor, trustee, and power of attorney services.
