Jacob was born and raised in Thunder Bay and started at Weilers as a legal assistant before earning his JD from the Bora Laskin Faculty of Law in 2022 with first-class standing. He works across several practice areas, focusing particularly on labour and employment and civil litigation, along with real estate and wills and estates. He was called to the bar of Ontario in 2022 and joined Weilers as an associate that year, having first joined as a law student in 2019. Jacob also holds the Osgoode Certificate in Labour Law from Osgoode Hall Law School (2024). He is Vice President of Northern Linkage and Vice Chair of the Board of Directors for the Community Living Thunder Bay Foundation.
