About Raymond

Raymond Wagner, K.C. is the founder and principal of Wagners, with more than 45 years of experience representing injured plaintiffs. His practice focuses on class actions, medical negligence including birth trauma, and personal injury litigation. He has appeared before every level of court in Atlantic Canada as well as courts in Ontario, Quebec, Saskatchewan, the Federal Court, and the Supreme Court of Canada. He was appointed by the CCAA Court to represent victims of tobacco related harm in a landmark national restructuring that allocated $2.5 billion toward treating tobacco related disease. He was called to the Nova Scotia bar in February 1980 and belongs to the Nova Scotia Barristers' Society, the Atlantic Provinces Trial Lawyers Association, and the American Association for Justice. He is a Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers and has received the NSBS Distinguished Service Award, the H. Bruce T. Hillyer Award, and the Lorne Clarke K.C. Access to Justice Award.
