About Nicholas
Nicholas Austin is a litigation associate in Verjee Law's Litigation and Dispute Resolution Group. He earned his J.D. from the University of Calgary in 2020 and a Bachelor of Fine Arts with Distinction from the Alberta College of Art and Design in 2015. During law school he worked as a research assistant and helped draft a statutory tort aimed at helping victims of online abuse, and has been published in Maclean's Magazine and through the University of Calgary Press. He sits on the Board of Directors of the Calgary Allied Arts Foundation and previously served on the board of the McDougall Stoney Mission Society, which promotes reconciliation between Alberta and the Stoney Nakoda Nation. He is a member of the Law Society of Alberta and the Calgary Bar Association.
