About Natalie

Natalie Shelkovsky practises the full range of family law litigation at Goldwater Droit, including divorce and separation, custody and parenting arrangements, support and the partition of family assets. She regularly pleads before the Superior Court in highly contested trials, with experience partitioning multi-million-dollar estates, seeking retroactive indexation of international child support and litigating disputes over school choice and a child's surname. She has also defended a parent in a decade-long support arrears dispute in which the opposing party sought roughly $100,000 plus a 20 percent surcharge. Before joining Goldwater Droit, Shelkovsky practised independently at a family law firm. She earned her LL.L. from the University of Ottawa in 2018 and was called to the Quebec Bar in 2020. She is a member of the Association des avocats et avocates en droit familial du Québec and works in French, English and Russian, with a good knowledge of Spanish.
