About Nash

Nash Jan Sumagaysay practised law in the Philippines for more than a decade across criminal, family, labour, succession, and administrative law, and also served as a municipal administrator, acting as mayor when required and providing free legal advice to constituents. In Canada, he received the NCA Guides/Global Lawyers of Canada Scholarship, completed the National Committee on Accreditation exams in 2022, and finished the Practice Readiness Education Program in 2024. He began his Canadian career as a legal assistant before articling at a Calgary law firm, and was recently called to the Law Society of Alberta bar. At Peralta Law Firm he focuses on family law, criminal law, and immigration law, and serves clients in Kinaray-a, Hiligaynon (Ilonggo), Tagalog, and English.
