About Jane

Jane M. Peralta is the founder of Peralta Law Firm in Calgary. She was called to the Law Society of Alberta bar in June 2022 after articling at a full-service Calgary firm across multiple practice areas, and has appeared before the Provincial Courts. She holds a Bachelor of Laws from a university in the Philippines, completed a Legal Assistant Diploma course in Calgary, and passed the National Committee on Accreditation examinations for internationally trained legal graduates in 2021. Before moving to Canada in 2014, she worked for more than a decade at the Regional Trial Court of the Philippines, and in Canada she began her career as a legal assistant supporting lawyers in family, criminal, civil, commercial, real estate, wills and estates, and litigation matters. Her practice now focuses on family law and divorce, immigration law, and wills and estates, and she assists Tagalog-speaking clients.
