About Namra

Namra Latif is a criminal defence lawyer at White & Jeet Criminal Defence, representing clients across Alberta including Lethbridge, Medicine Hat, Calgary, Red Deer, and Edmonton. Before joining the firm, she completed her articles with Student Legal Assistance at the University of Calgary, where she represented clients in sentencings, trials, and Charter applications, and worked on criminal appeals, Indigenous sentencing matters, and administrative proceedings. She has a particular interest in representing vulnerable immigrant populations facing criminal charges, drawing on her own experience as a first-generation immigrant. Latif approaches each file with careful review of disclosure and a focus on identifying weaknesses in the Crown's case. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and a Juris Doctor, both from the University of Calgary.
