About Matthew

Matthew Gal's primary practice areas are commercial, corporate, and purchase-and-sale-of-business matters, along with technology law, including cybersecurity and the interaction between law and artificial intelligence. He has extensive litigation experience at all levels of Alberta courts. Born and raised in Lethbridge and Calgary, he earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Calgary in 2018, where he was co-editor-in-chief of the Alberta Law Review. He serves as Vice Chair of Finance for the Lethbridge Chamber of Commerce and previously served three years on the board of the Galt Museum and Archives. He works from North & Company's Taber and Coaldale branch offices.
