About Nadia

Nadia Authier practises exclusively in civil litigation, focusing on construction and commercial disputes including construction defect claims, Construction Act claims, tender disputes, delay claims, and Occupational Health and Safety Act charges. Clients include owners, condominiums, contractors, subcontractors, material suppliers, bonding companies, architects, and engineers. In 2013, Nadia served as associate counsel to the Elliot Lake Commission of Inquiry into the collapse of the Algo Centre Mall, drawing on bilingual capability and construction-industry experience. Nadia earned a Bachelor of Social Sciences in Sociology from the University of Ottawa in 1998 and a Bachelor of Laws, also from the University of Ottawa, in 2001, and was called to the Ontario Bar in 2002. Nadia practises in both English and French.
