About Mustapha

Mustapha Mahmoud is the founding lawyer of Mahmoud Avocats in Montreal and has practised exclusively in criminal and penal defence for more than 10 years. He has appeared before every level of court in Quebec, including the Court of Québec, the Superior Court and the Court of Appeal, and is among a small number of Quebec defence lawyers to have argued before the Supreme Court of Canada, where he is scheduled to appear again in the fall of 2026. He represents clients throughout Quebec, including in Montreal, Laval, Longueuil, Saint-Jérôme, Blainville, Gatineau, Granby, Joliette, Sherbrooke and Quebec City, on matters ranging from impaired driving and theft to sexual offences, drug charges, weapons offences and homicide. He is a graduate of the Faculty of Law at the University of Ottawa.
