Criminal DefenceDylan Jones graduated from the University of Ottawa in 2009 with both civil law and common law degrees, was admitted to the Quebec Bar, and joined Boro Polnicky Lighter in 2010, becoming a partner at Boro Frigon Gordon Jones in 2018. He focuses his practice on criminal and regulatory law, representing clients at all levels of court in both first-instance and appellate matters, and practices across all of Quebec's judicial districts as well as several in Ontario. Dylan Jones has developed significant experience with impaired driving cases and first-time offenders, and has handled dangerous driving, fraud, theft, domestic violence, drug, firearm, assault, robbery, extradition and Highway Safety Code files. He has also represented clients before IIROC, the Autorité des marchés financiers (AMF), Quebec's Chief Firearms Officer, and the Société de l'assurance automobile du Québec (SAAQ), among other regulatory bodies, and has experience assisting victims of crime and preparing pardon and waiver applications for past offenders. He was called to the Quebec Bar in 2011, and holds an LL.B. (2009) and LL.L. (2008) from the University of Ottawa. He is a member of the Defence Lawyers' Association of Montreal (AADM) and the Defense Lawyers' Association of Quebec (AQAD).
