About Karen

Karen has focused on family law and civil litigation for more than 15 years. She is a trained collaborative lawyer and qualified mediator, tools she uses to help clients navigate separation and divorce more smoothly. Karen has extensive experience representing children and youth in child protection matters and has been recognized in The Best Lawyers in Canada for family law from 2018 to 2023. She earned her LL.B. from the University of New Brunswick in 1997 and was called to the Nova Scotia Bar in 1998.
