About Monique
Monique serves as Senior Advisor, drawing on her experience as a senior corporate executive for most of her 34-year career in the telecom, health, and information technology sectors. Most recently she held the role of Chief Legal and Governance Officer and Executive Vice-President, Corporate Affairs at TELUS Corporation, where she oversaw legal services, human resources, privacy, government relations, regulatory affairs, sustainability and other corporate functions, and championed greater board-level diversity. She currently sits on the boards of TMX Group and Alamos Gold and chairs the board of Innergex Renewable Energy. Monique holds a bachelor's degree in law from the University of Montreal and a master's in politics from Oxford University, where she held the Commonwealth Scholarship, and she was called to the Quebec bar in 1983.
