About Monica

Monica L. Barley became an associate lawyer at Forbes Roth Basque after being called to the bar in 2002, and later worked as a federal crown prosecutor before joining Actus Law Droit in 2010, becoming a partner in 2012. Her practice focuses on dispute resolution in estates and on estate planning. She holds a Bachelor of Science in physics and mathematics from the Université de Moncton. In 2014 and 2015, she chaired the Financial and Consumer Services Tribunal, an independent adjudicative body under New Brunswick financial and consumer services legislation, and she chairs the Wills and Trusts Section of the New Brunswick Branch of the Canadian Bar Association.
