About Mohammed
Mohammed Jelassi is an associate at Hicks Adams who focuses on criminal trials and supports clients from bail hearings through to final resolution. He graduated with distinction from the University of Ottawa's law program in 2023, having earlier volunteered with Community Legal Services of Ottawa on immigration and refugee matters. He articled in mental health litigation, assisting counsel with appearances before the Ontario Review Board and the Consent and Capacity Board and with appeals to the Court of Appeal for Ontario. Before law school he earned an Honours degree in criminology from the University of Ottawa. He was called to the Ontario Bar in 2024 and belongs to the Canadian Bar Association, the Toronto Lawyers Association and the Criminal Lawyers' Association.
