About Mitchell

Mitchell Hayward is a civil litigation associate at Reynolds Mirth Richards & Farmer LLP whose practice spans civil litigation, municipal law, employment law and construction law. He joined the firm as a summer student in 2019 and completed his articles in 2022, also gaining experience as a summer student at PCL Construction. Mitchell assists clients in commercial and corporate disputes across all levels of court in Alberta, supports employers and employees on employment and human rights issues, and advises municipalities on bylaw interpretation and prosecutes regulatory offences. He teaches Municipal Law to undergraduate and Master's students at the University of Alberta. Mitchell earned his BA and JD, both with Distinction, from the University of Alberta, and was admitted to the Alberta bar in 2022.
