About Misty

Misty Alexandre is a partner whose practice focuses primarily on construction law and commercial debt recovery, advising suppliers, contractors, subcontractors, owners, and consultants on procurement, contract drafting and enforcement, builders' liens, and dispute resolution. She was heavily involved in shaping Saskatchewan's Builders' Lien (Prompt Payment) Amendment Act, which came into force in 2022, and helped develop the province's Adjudicator Training course. Since 2019 she has been recognized by Best Lawyers as a leading construction law practitioner, was named Lawyer of the Year for Construction Law (Saskatoon) in 2022 and 2024, and in 2026 was inducted as a Fellow of the Canadian College of Construction Lawyers. Away from the office, Misty is a former captain of the University of Saskatchewan Huskies women's hockey team and volunteers as a head coach in the Saskatoon Comets Female Hockey zone.
