Miryam Burns joined Plant & Co. in 2023, bringing a compassionate and detail oriented approach to her work in family law and estate planning. She was called to the bar in 2015 and began her legal journey at Rise Women's Legal Centre during law school, where she continues to mentor students. Burns practised family law at a downtown Vancouver firm before relocating to the Sunshine Coast. She works with families of all shapes and sizes, including queer, trans, and multi-parent households, helping clients create legal arrangements that reflect their own values and realities.
