About Jennifer
Jennifer Kwok is a partner at Overholt Law LLP practising employment law, labour relations law, and human rights law, advising both employers and employees on terminations, restrictive covenants, executive compensation, severance packages, and workplace policies. She also conducts independent third-party workplace investigations and provides workplace training. Kwok began her legal career with a two-year clerkship at the Federal Court of Canada and worked for almost seven years as a patrol constable with the Vancouver Police Department before returning to law with Overholt Law in 2013. She earned her LL.B. from the University of Alberta's Faculty of Law in 2002 and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Alberta in 1998. She was called to the British Columbia bar in 2005 and is a member of the Law Society of British Columbia and the Canadian Bar Association.
