About Michelle
Michelle Lee LaPierre grew up in Bracebridge, in Ontario's Muskoka region, and earned an honours degree in history from York University, including a year of study at Uppsala University in Sweden. She moved to Ottawa in 1992 and completed Algonquin College's Legal Assistant diploma program with honours, then worked as a legal assistant at Anderson Law Office starting in 1996 while pursuing her goal of becoming a lawyer. She completed her articles at the Ottawa office of Borden Ladner Gervais and was called to the bar in July 2004, after which she took over Anderson Law Office and renamed it LaPierre Law Office Professional Corporation. She practices real estate, wills and estates, and corporate law in Ottawa.
