LaPierre Law Office Professional Corporation is a small law firm in Blackburn Hamlet, a community in Ottawa's east end, operating from an office on Innes Road. The firm traces back to Anderson Law Office, which it says has served the Ottawa community for more than 40 years. Michelle Lee LaPierre started at Anderson Law Office as a legal assistant in 1996, was called to the Ontario bar in July 2004, and then took over the practice and renamed it LaPierre Law Office Professional Corporation. LaPierre grew up in Bracebridge, in Ontario's Muskoka region, and holds an honours B.A. in history from York University, including a year of study at Uppsala University in Sweden, along with a Legal Assistant diploma from Algonquin College. LaPierre articled at Borden Ladner Gervais' Ottawa office before being called to the bar.

Cecilia Senra Perdigao, who grew up in Elliot Lake in Northern Ontario, began a social sciences degree, with a concentration in criminology, at the University of Ottawa in 1997. Perdigao joined Anderson Law Office as a legal assistant in 2000 and continued working there while studying law, went on to earn a law degree from the University of Ottawa in 2007, articled at Burke-Robertson LLP, and was called to the Ontario bar in June 2008, joining LaPierre Law Office as a lawyer. The firm's practice today covers real estate law, wills and powers of attorney, estate administration, and corporate and business law for individual and business clients in Ottawa's east end.
