About Michael

Whiting practises commercial litigation, construction law, and securities litigation, and has appeared before the Provincial Court of Alberta, the Court of King's Bench, the Court of Appeal, and the Alberta Securities Commission. Whiting has a number of reported trial and application decisions, including H2 Canmore Apartments LP v Cormode & Dickson Construction Edmonton Ltd. (2024 ABKB 428) and Perth Construction Ltd. v. Mears Canada Corp. (2018 ABCA). Whiting is a member of the Calgary Construction Association and the Society of Construction Law. Whiting was called to the Alberta Bar in 2004.
