About Michael

Michael W. Chadwick is a partner at Flaherty McCarthy whose practice centers on insurance litigation, including tort jury trials and accident benefits disputes. He has appeared at trial, in arbitration, and on appeal, and he also works to resolve cases through negotiation and mediation when possible. His case history includes decisions such as Yasmin v. Alexander at the Ontario Court of Appeal and a successful summary judgment motion in Desbois v. Wood. He was called to the Ontario bar in 1993 after earning an LL.B. from the University of Toronto and a B.Sc. from Trent University. Michael belongs to the Durham Region Law Association, the Medical Legal Society of Toronto, and The Advocates' Society.
