About Michael
Michael Salerno has been part of the De Rose Lawyers team since 2010, focusing on short-term and long-term disability claims and disputes. He works with clients who are unable to work, advocating for disability benefits that insurers have wrongfully denied. Michael believes most people want to work and only turn to their insurer when it's truly necessary, and he brings that perspective to every file. He supports clients from the initial meeting through settlement and often stays in touch afterward. Michael holds a BA from York University and earned his LLB with First Class Honours from the University of Wolverhampton, followed by NCA certification through the Federation of Law Societies of Canada. He was called to the bar in 2012 and is a member of the Law Society of Ontario, practicing in personal injury, disability claims, and family law.
