About Michael

Michael L. Bennett was admitted to the Law Society of Ontario in 2000 and has practised exclusively in personal injury law ever since, after briefly representing insurance companies and the Office of the Public Guardian and Trustee early in his career. He now acts solely for injured people and their families, and has appeared before the Ontario Court of Appeal, the Superior Court of Justice, the former Financial Services Commission of Ontario, and the Licence Appeal Tribunal on questions of insurance coverage, benefit entitlement and catastrophic impairment. He takes a particular interest in complicated orthopaedic, brain and spinal cord injury cases. Michael joined Thomson Rogers in 2002 and has been a partner there since 2008, holding a BA from McGill (1995) and an LLB from Osgoode Hall (1998).
